Debut Spotlight: Laura Ziepe

One of the books that I'm really looking forward to reading this month is Essex Girls by Laura Ziepe so I've decided to put Laura under the debut spotlight.

Born in Essex, Laura Ziepe worked for a media company and as a receptionist for a law firm before launching her own business, mycelebritydress.com in 2009, where customers can hire designer dresses as seen on celebrities and the red carpet.  She was offered a place in the first series of The Only Way Is Essex.  Through her business she now hires dresses to many of the stars of TOWIE and other hit TV shows.  Though she hates to admit it, she is rather a (stereo)typical Essex girl, loving shopping, pampering and hitting the gym - not to mention spoiling her two Chihuahuas, Dolly and Dusty.

Travelling from Romford to Marbella, Essex Girls introduces Jade, Kelly and Lisa - three gorgeous, good-hearted girls determined to live life to the full.  Jade did everything she could to fit in at university - toned down her tan, gave up on her favourite lashes, and retired her curling tongs.  But when Jade discovers that boyfriend Tom has been cheating she heads home to Essex and her best friends.

When even a night out at The Sugar Hut isn't enough to put a smile back on her face they hatch a plan to get away from it all, to a suitable glamorous and glitzy destination: Marbella.  Sun, sea, men, clubbing: what could possibly go wrong?
